Nigeria Vice President to Attend Virtual Launch of Nigeria SDGs-Fintech Hackathon

The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osibanjo will attend the virtual launch of Nigeria’s first SDGs Hackathon as the Special Guest of Honour.

The virtual launch which will take place on the 26th of March, 2021  will have dignitaries like Mr. Bola Onalade Koko, Chairman, FC4S Lagos, CEO, FMDQ Group, Mr. Herbert Wigwe GMD/CEO, Access Bank, Mr. Peter Bamkole, MD, EDC/Chairman NCIC and Ms. Christine Dikongue, Co-Founder AfricaHacks as speakers.

The event themed, “Fintech-Driven Solutions that Advance Sustainability” is a prelude of Nigeria’s first FinTech Hackathon for SDGs that aims to bring together developers, designers, product managers, and other tech enthusiasts to build tech solutions for payments, financial inclusion, accountability and credibility, security and privacy to impact the realization of the SDGs directly.

Dr. Andrew Nevin, the Chief Economist PWC West Africa will be moderating the event, giving all participants the chance to discuss and ask questions on the upcoming hackathon.
