The Leadership of AfricaHacks Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Dikongué as Vice President Internationalization with an initial focus on Francophone Africa tech scene, effective immediately.
Christine’s appointment is a clear reflection of the AfricaHacks’s current state: ready to take on the future and fired up to include all Africans, regardless of language or location, in our tech company and job creation journey. AfricaHacks is poised for a major expansion to enable francophone African youth to create tech companies and get tech jobs, and we’re excited about Christine’s unique experience in using technology and her network in helping organizations to support people of diverse backgrounds and the impact that can help us create. There is an enormous opportunity for AfricaHacks that lies ahead, and we couldn’t be happier with Christine joining us and helping us and our community achieve continued success.
Christine brings to the position a wealth of knowledge and an array of experiences in the Financial Technology (Fintech), Capacity building, Marketing, and Youth leadership, on a provincial, national and international level.
On behalf of the entire AfricaHacks team and community of African makers, leaders, and disruptors, we’d like to welcome Christine to the AfricaHacks team.
AfricaHacks is recognized as the largest platform for African youth in Tech. As the organizer of Africa’s largest Hackathon, NaijaHacks, and supporter of Hackathons like BothoHacks across all African countries, AfricaHacks’s provides opportunities for African youth to create tech companies and get tech jobs. To this end, we run an offline and online Member Event program and a post-hackathon incubation program where we transform ideas from our Member Event Hackathons to companies making us the largest tech event organizer in Africa.
